Duties and Responsibilities:
The Director of HCS Sales & Client Experience is responsible for the overall revenue generating distribution channels for Healthcare Services including but not limited to Wholesale and Broker (sales) and Client Experience. In addition this role is responsible for the strategic direction and marketing of the group as it relates to revenue generating partnerships and opportunities.
-Oversight of the Healthcare business development strategic goals, objectives and business plan and they are in line with the evolving market and competition in order for the team to execute with focus and ideal tactics to achieve success and align to Healthcare's overall strategy.
-Ensure that UMB Healthcare is represented at strategic industry events and conferences, while managing to the established budget.
-Oversight of the strategic plan to drive market growth and maintain critically important relationships (internal & client) and they align to Healthcare's overall strategy.
-Ensure that opportunities are looked at to leverage new or improved technologies for enhanced sales, experience, processes, and workflows. Also allow for redundancies to be eliminated.
-Provide guidance and assistance in order to respond to Request for Proposals to obtain revenue opportunities.
-Assist with and partner on internal communications regarding client partnerships.
-Keep updated and knowledgeable on industry trends, products & technologies and ensure that that associates are educated on such.
-Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
-Demonstrates excellence at verbal and written communication in the English language
-Demonstrates proficiency of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook

-Demonstrates ability to effectively manage time, prioritize & consistently meet deadlines
-Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain internal/external relationships
-Demonstrates strong analytical skills

-Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience in banking or customer service
-7+ years of sales experience, with 5 of those in sales management

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
-Ability to manage multiple teams and/or functions within a division
