UMB Bank Operations Specialist in Kansas City, Missouri
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Operations Specialist will perform complex processing and moderately complex financial calculations related to securities and cash transactions. They will be responsible to receive and review investment related to Corporate Actions. Complete workflow and transaction processing in a timely and professional manner. Perform a comprehensive review of documentation to ensure each is accurate and ensure transmission to the appropriate decision makers. Input election information into internal systems and depository systems ensuring 100% accuracy. Process cash and/or stock allocation payments accurately and timely. Perform review of associates work at the direction of the manager. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
-Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly with coworkers, managers, and business partners.
-Demonstrated ability to work under time constraints to meet deadlines and complete transactions with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
-Demonstrates ability to perform multiple roles within a team.
-Demonstrates general knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, proficiency in excel and word.
-Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
-Demonstrates intermediate problem solving skills.
-Established accuracy in data entry of complex and critical information.
-Strong organizational skills as well as excellent analytical and problem solving skills, are required.

-Associate Degree and 1 year experience in financial services industry OR Bachelors Degree OR 5 years experience in financial services industry.
-1 year experience with banking and/or custody systems.
