  • Experience with Linux and SQLServer databases

  • Demonstrated knowledge in implementation/support of packaged apps with components running under a variety of possible technologies besides the mainframe such as: DB2, Microsoft technologies, Java and related technologies, web services, Linux & Unix operating systems, MQ series and WebSphere.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in support and set up of data transmissions to include one or more of the following data transmission types: NDM or Cyberfusion

  • Expertise with the 4D development environment is a major plus

  • Expert level skills with JavaScript, SQL, HTML5, & CSS3.

  • Deep understanding of XML, REST, JSON, WebSphere, and Apache

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with minimal assistance to troubleshoot, maintain, configure, analyze, test, scope, estimate and design technical and non-technical solutions required to satisfy clients' needs.

  • Will perform development tasks which will involve extraction, transfer, and presentation of data, performing all associated transformations, validations, cleansing, and preparation of data.

  • Work on elements of large, complex installations.

  • Develop and implement process improvements. Function as a resource and advocate for the business partners.

  • Field incoming problem tickets to identify and resolve application and software issues.

  • Partner and interact with user and management to maintain and continually improve the operations, maintenance, and documentation of the systems.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to field incoming problem tickets to identify and resolve application and software issues

  • Possess both technical and non-technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to conceptualize, plan, develop and deliver a variety of creative solutions

  • Ability to identify, develop and document business requirements, technical requirements and functional design

  • Understands and follows formal project methodologies and change control processes

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional customer service orientation
