UMB Bank Operations Manager I in Overland Park, Kansas

What You'll Do:

The Operations Manager, Consumer Banking is the primary operations role within multiple branches. This role is responsible for ensuring all operational policies and procedures are followed including but not limited to branch operations, compliance, audit functionality and cash handling controls. The role focuses on compliance of CIP and CDD by completing new account audits and cross-checks. Manages daily cash levels and accuracy through audits, cash reconcilements and target cash levels. The role looks for trends and addresses anomalies appropriately. In addition, the role is responsible for the security and facility needs of the branch and is held accountable for robbery preparedness, and ensuring inspection of security tools are up to date. The role is also the primary contact for branch maintenance. This role supervises the Transaction Specialists within the branch and is responsible for developing associates to achieve performance goals. Other duties as assigned.

In this Role, You will Need:

-Advanced proficiency in branch operations and teller functionality.

-Knowledge of banking products, systems, policies/procedures and regulations.

-Ability to balance compliance and audit concerns with customer experience expectations.

Who You Are:

-2 years of branch operations experience.

-1 year experience managing and developing people.

-Bachelors degree in Business Administration or comparable college and/or business experience.

-Experience in managing and developing people.
